What is PCD/Offset?

When selecting the correct wheel for your vehicle, there are several factors that must be taken into account:

Stud Pattern - You must ensure that the amount of bolt holes on the wheel matches the amount of wheel matches the amount of wheel studs on your vehicle.

PCD - P.C.D means "Pitch Circle Diameter", and refers to the distance between the wheel studs, across the diameter of a circle. This measurement needs to be correct, or the bolt holes on the wheel won't line up with the wheel studs. Stud Patterns and PCD's are often written in shorthand, e.g. "6/139.7", meaning 6 Studs, 139.7mm PCD.

Offset - Offset refers to how far in or out the mounting plate of the wheel is from the center of the rim, and affects how far in or out the wheels will sit once they're bolted on to your vehicle. Selecting the incorrect offset can either cause your tyres to foul on your chassis or other components, or cause the wheels to stick too far out of the guards.
