Sterling 4X4 Exhaust systems are mandrel-bent, bolt-on systems designed to make driving your 4X4 a pleasureable experience. Sterling systems mount to the O.E exhaust hangers, meaning no cutting or welding is required to install them. As these systems have been designed specifically for 4WDs, they can withstand the harsh environments we encounter whilst 4WDing.

Unlike some systems that create too much noise, or a "droning" effect, Sterling 4X4 systems have been designed for 4WD Touring vehicles, and produce a noise that is only slightly louder than standard, and not over the top.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will this exhaust make my vehicle louder?
A: Slightly. As these systems have been designed specifically for 4WD Touring vehicles, Sterling didn't want to go over the top with the amount noise their systems create. They do deepen the tone slightly, and are slightly louder, but nothing over the top.

Q: Will fitting an exhaust void my new vehicle warranty?
A: No. The manufacturer will no longer warranty your exhaust system, however the Sterling 4X4 system comes with its' own 2 Year Warranty.

Q: Does this system come with a Dump Pipe or Why doesn't this system come with a Dump Pipe?
A: To see whether a dump pipe is included with this system, check the vehicle-specific information in the "Specification" tab above. When Sterling 4X4 undergo the research and development phase of their systems, they test fit an aftermarket dump pipe. Some systems show no benefit to fitting a new dump pipe, due to turbo flange size, or other reasons. If no benefit is received from fitting a new dump pipe, Sterling 4X4 do not provide one in their system, helping you save money.

Q: If I have a DP Chip fitted and fit this exhaust, will my DP Chip need to be re-tuned?
A: No. Your DP Chip will not need to be re-tuned after fitting this exhaust system.

Q: Are replacement items such as mufflers available for this exhaust system?
A: Yes, we can supply replacement items such as mufflers and gaskets.
